Position Title: Project Manager
Summary
Acts as BTA’s intermediate construction-management hierarchy by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Under the direction of the Program Manager, assumes responsibility for annual roof related projects which occur simultaneously at multiple sites in an assigned geographic region.
- Coordinates data collection and inventory of roof assets and roof condition assessments, and when necessary provides supervision for the execution of those actions.
- Represents BTA to the Owner at the plant level: BTA’ “face” to the Plant Engineer and Plant Manager.
- Reviews daily electronic progress reports, status reports, and variance reports.
- Presents deliverables to the Plant Engineer and/or Plant Manager.
- Under supervision of the Program Manager, directly supervises work of A/E, Roofing Contractors, Site Management Consultants, and Specialty Consultants in regards to quality, safety, cost and schedule.
- Exercises authority within budget constraints to initiate and/or evaluate and approve all field orders.
- Continually evaluates and documents contractor performance.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5-years’ experience in roofing or construction industry.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
- Regional and National travel required on routine basis.
