Program Manager

Position Title: Program Manager 

Summary
Acts as BTA’s face to the client managing all program responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for overseeing the Project Manager and Project Support Staff assigned to the Program.
  • Prepare and update project status reports, revenue projections and invoice accruals.
  • Work with the Operations Manager; monitor all project costs and staffing levels in order to meet P&L objectives.
  • Work with the Project Manager(s) to develop preliminary estimates/budgets, schedules and subcontractor’s for each project.
  • Meet with the Owner/Client(s) during design development in order to refine the scope of work, oversee pre-construction services and review construction drawings.
  • Review final construction budgets, change orders and project costs with the Project Manager prior to presentation to the Owner/Client.
  • Continually monitor the project with Owner/Client to ensure satisfaction with safety, security, schedule, cost and quality.
  • Actively manage Owner/Client follow-up on relevant issues.
  • Review and update Program Management Plan, Safety Procedures, Roles & Responsibilities Matrix and Presentation Material, as required.
  • Provide long term planning and schedules necessary for a five (5) year Program.

Supervisory Responsibilities, Reports To

Reports to the BTA Operations Manager.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in architecture, engineering, or construction management and a minimum of 10-years experience in General Contracting.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Professional Engineer and/or PMP certification preferred but not required.

Skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Project & Word and Primavera.

Capacity to handle a variety of projects simultaneously.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

Organization and ability to prioritize activities & resources.
